Job Title: ESG Data Specialist

NOV, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled ESG Data Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in supporting our rapidly evolving ESG data needs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage all aspects of ESG data collection, including setting deadlines, assigning responsibilities, and monitoring progress.
  • Identify and address limitations of ESG data, aggregating data as necessary to support our sustainability reporting.
  • Understand our evolving ESG data needs, identifying, evaluating, and recommending complementary data sets.
  • Analyze existing ESG data sources and methodologies for accuracy, contributing to the development of dashboards or Power BI's to improve ESG process integration.
  • Recommend and support implementation of data solutions for evolving external reporting needs, including regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that data collection, analysis, and reporting projects are completed on time and within estimated costs.
  • Develop and maintain associated documentation and communications.
  • Gather, organize, and interpret statistical data from the database to provide reports to, and answer questions from, upper management.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Statistics, Mathematics, Accounting, or Computer Science or equivalent work experience.
  • At least three years in Data Processing, with at least two years of experience with database management systems.
  • Passion for sustainability issues and corporate responsibility.
  • Experience in the nuances of specific ESG data sets, data structure, and quality of ESG ratings, scores, and other data sets is preferred.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • General experience utilizing business intelligence platforms and data visualization, such as Power BI, Tableau, etc.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite or related software.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Understanding of computer languages used within database.
  • Understanding of database design and construction.
