Job Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Hematology Sales Representative to join our team in the Pacific Northwest region. As a Hematology Sales Representative, you will be responsible for managing the business within a specific geographical territory and selling and promoting Alphanate, Alphanine, Thrombate, and Albutein to exceed financial objectives within your territory.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage the business within a specific geographical territory in the Pacific Northwest region.
- Sell and promote Alphanate, Alphanine, Thrombate, and Albutein to exceed financial objectives within your territory.
- Detail Alphanate and Alphanine to Hematologists, Hemophilia Treatment Centers, Specialty Pharmacies, Hemophilia Chapters, and targeted Hospital Pharmacies across the assigned territory.
- Detail Thrombate III to targeted hospitals across the assigned territory with a focus on Hematologists, Operating room, Cardiac Surgeons, Anesthesiologists, Maternal Fetal Medicine, and Hospital Pharmacy.
- Detail Albutein 5% and 25% to targeted hospitals across the assigned territory with a focus on Operating room, Cardiac Surgeons, Interventional Radiology, and Hospital Pharmacy.
- Report directly to a Regional Sales Director and execute on the National sales and marketing strategy.
- Work in partnership with home office personnel, the Brand team, and the National and Corporate account teams for pull-through of product sales.
- Manage a defined territory travel/expense budget and maintain Company and Industry Compliance Rules.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a life sciences or healthcare field, with advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in pharmaceutical, biotechnology, healthcare, or medical device sales and/or marketing, including at least 2 years of Hospital account sales experience.
- Strong knowledge of the medical industry, including pharmaceutical, hospital, specialty pharmacy, biologics/biotech.
- Familiarity with adding products to Hospital Formularies.
- Experience calling on Health Care Specialists such as Hematologists, Anesthesiologists, Cardiac Surgeons, and Clinical Pharmacy.
- Knowledge of coagulation products to treat Thrombophilia, such as Deep Vein Thrombosis and Pulmonary Embolism.
- Knowledge of coagulation products to treat Hemophilia.
- Documented, consistent, above-average performance in prior sales positions.
- Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple tasks/priorities.
- Valid driver's license and ability to live in the territory.
