Your Responsibilities:

In this position, you will represent our organization, collaborating directly with business proprietors, managers, and staff in small to medium-sized enterprises within your assigned area. Your daily activities will be varied, taking you from one establishment to another, where you will deliver compelling presentations and introduce our premium supplemental insurance offerings.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

This is an external sales role within your designated sales territory. You will receive training to engage with small and medium-sized businesses across various sectors, meeting face-to-face with business owners and decision-makers to present some of the industry's leading supplemental insurance products and services. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Responding to general inquiries from clients
  • Scheduling follow-up meetings with prospective and existing clients to assess their needs
  • Participating in scheduled calls or meetings with your sales team or supervisor
  • Approaching new businesses, referrals, and existing clients for re-engagement
  • Developing and maintaining your own client portfolio
  • Meeting with your sales manager to discuss and establish monthly and quarterly sales targets
  • Building relationships with local business owners in your territory
  • Setting your own working hours and reporting them to your sales manager weekly
  • Following up on provided sales leads and conducting in-person outreach to businesses
  • Submitting daily reports on your sales activities and metrics

  • Must be licensed in Health & Life general lines (or willing to obtain a Health & Life producer license with reimbursement available)
  • A bachelor’s degree or a minimum of 4 years of relevant professional experience. Candidates nearing degree completion will also be considered.
