About the Company: The State of Nebraska is currently seeking candidates for the Records Clerk/Cashier role. This position is an entry-level clerical opportunity within the Judicial Branch, providing a range of benefits including medical, dental, and vision coverage, retirement plans, and paid time off.
Job Responsibilities:
- Conduct clerical tasks in a county court environment
- Manage various administrative functions in areas such as criminal/traffic, civil/small claims, or probate
- Address inquiries, file documents, process payments, and perform other general office responsibilities
- Assist as a courtroom clerk under supervision
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Two years of office experience
- Proficiency in Spanish
- Experience in a court or law office, or cash handling
- Completion of training in the statewide computer system within six months of employment
- Strong typing and computer skills
- Excellent customer service and telephone etiquette
- Understanding of bookkeeping practices
