The Helicopter Airframe and Powerplant Mechanic (A&P) position at 77 Consultants presents a remarkable opportunity for skilled technicians to enhance our aviation maintenance operations. Key Responsibilities:

  • Execute both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopter airframes, powerplants, and associated systems.
  • Conduct thorough inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on helicopter structures, rotor systems, engine components, as well as electrical and avionics systems.
  • Diagnose and rectify mechanical and electrical challenges promptly, minimizing helicopter downtime.
  • Perform routine maintenance tasks including oil changes, filter replacements, and component inspections.
  • Ensure all maintenance operations adhere to relevant regulations, manufacturer specifications, and company protocols.
  • Maintain precise and comprehensive maintenance records, documenting work performed, parts utilized, and inspections completed.
  • Collaborate with fellow maintenance team members to prioritize and efficiently complete maintenance tasks.
  • Stay informed about industry advancements and technological innovations in helicopter maintenance.
  • Follow safety protocols diligently, fostering a secure working environment for yourself and your colleagues.

Qualifications:

  • Possess a valid FAA Airframe and Powerplant (A&P) Mechanic certificate.
  • Have a minimum of 3-5 years of experience as an A&P Mechanic specializing in helicopters.
  • Demonstrate strong knowledge of helicopter airframes, powerplants, rotor systems, and related electrical and avionics systems.
  • Exhibit the ability to diagnose and troubleshoot intricate mechanical and electrical issues in helicopters.
  • Experience in performing both scheduled and unscheduled maintenance on helicopters, adhering to manufacturer guidelines and approved maintenance procedures.
  • Familiarity with applicable FAA regulations and a commitment to ensuring compliance with all relevant rules and requirements.
  • Possess attention to detail and robust organizational skills, ensuring accurate and thorough maintenance records.
  • Show excellent communication and interpersonal skills, facilitating effective collaboration with team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrate a commitment to safety and a solid understanding of safety guidelines and practices in helicopter maintenance.
