About the Role

The Maintenance Mechanic is a skilled worker responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining complex equipment, including diesel and gasoline engine-driven heavy trucks, construction equipment, and hydraulic systems.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment, including pumps, motors, gear drives, and centrifuges.
  • Troubleshoot and repair issues with rotary screw air compressors and process valves.
  • Install and fabricate process piping systems, including threading, welding, and soldering.
  • Interpret P&ID drawings and perform metal fabrication tasks.
  • Assist with cleaning, painting, and labor work as instructed.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Ability to lift 50 pounds.
  • Dependable transportation and personal tools.
  • 2+ years of experience in a petrochemical industry.
  • Ability to work in adverse weather conditions.
