Job Summary:

Carmeuse is seeking an Electrical Maintenance Technician to join our team. As an Electrical Maintenance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical systems, including electric motors, electric controls, and scales.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Troubleshoot and repair electrical systems, equipment, and components using test equipment and hand tools.
  • Inspect and identify electrical distribution systems, including 12 to 5K volts.
  • Analyze and respond safely and appropriately to routine and emergency calls for repairs and service.
  • Follow blueprints to determine the location of wiring and equipment and to conform to building and safety codes.

Requirements:

  • High School Graduate or GED equivalency.
  • Minimum 2 years' and 4000 hours of on-the-job electrical maintenance training.
  • Must take and receive overall qualification report results on a Ramsay Journeyman Electrician exam.
  • Demonstrated competency in preventative, predictive, and computerized electrical maintenance management systems.
