Job Description

MRIGlobal seeks a Business Development Director to lead our Commercial Business Development team. This role requires a self-motivated professional with experience in business development, particularly in the diagnostics development, pharmaceutical sciences, and test and evaluation fields.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute annual business development strategy and long-range planning.
  • Cultivate new and maintain existing customer and partner relationships.
  • Actively identify, qualify, position for, capture, communicate and pursue commercial opportunities and strategies.
  • Successfully partner with technical team members to develop and support customer engagement, opportunity assessment, and proposal development.

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 15 years of related business development experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant science or business field; Masters preferred.
  • Understanding of the diagnostics, pharmaceutical and biotech industries.
  • Proven success originating, developing, and submitting competitive proposals in the commercial biotech market.
  • Proficiency with Salesforce CRM, MS Office, and standard business tools.
