Commercial HVAC Sales Account Manager

As a seasoned Commercial HVAC Sales Account Manager, you will play a pivotal role in fostering enduring relationships with key clients across our targeted statewide markets. Your primary responsibility will involve generating opportunities, spearheading sales initiatives, and acquiring new projects within our diverse range of existing and prospective services.
To excel in this position, you will possess a strong background in commercial construction sales or account management, with a proven track record of engaging with prominent clients, discerning their critical issues, and formulating customized solutions that address their specific requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing customers.
- Utilize all internal and external resources to position Modigent as the industry thought leader.
- Encourage a team selling environment that leverages subject matter experts to provide unique and value-driven solutions to our customers.
- Operate as the lead point of contact for assigned customers.
- Develop, present, and maintain Account Management plans for assigned customers.
- Maintain accurate sales activity and sales forecast information in our CRM and other tools.
- Present products and services to existing and future customers.
- Maintain the highest level of customer service with both external and internal customers.
- Negotiate terms of agreements and closing of sales.
- Ensure timely delivery of proposals to customers.
- Create detailed proposal documents and presentations.
- Gain a clear understanding of customers' needs and requirements.
- Maintains a high level of knowledge in the HVAC industry.
- Negotiate with customers, solve problems, and ensure deadlines are met.
- Fully understand market contracts, best practices, and competition.
- Manage the entire sales cycle from finding a customer to securing a deal.
- Provide professional after-sales support to enhance customer loyalty.
- Remain in frequent contact with customers to understand their needs.
- Attend internal and external conferences, training sessions, meetings, and industry events.

Work Environment:
This position operates in a professional office environment, on our customers' job sites, and remotely. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, tablets, estimating, and CRM systems.
Position Type/Expected Hours of Work:
This is a full-time position, with regular hours of work and days Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.; however, this position can regularly require long hours and frequent weekend work.
Travel:
Travel is primarily local during the business day, although some out-of-the-area and overnight travel may be expected.
Education and Experience:
5+ years of identified HVAC market experience, commercial construction sales, or account management.
Bachelor's degree in business, mechanical engineering, communication, marketing, or a related field preferred.
Salary:
The estimated salary for this position is $80,000 - $115,000 per year.
