Job Title: Credit Account Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Account Manager to join our team at Carrier Enterprise, LLC. in Houston, Texas.

Job Summary:

The successful candidate will be responsible for credit extension and collection of accounts receivable for an assigned area, working closely with Sales Center Managers, Sales Teams, and Customers to resolve credit and collection issues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an assigned area's accounts receivable, ensuring timely collection and minimizing bad debt losses.
  • Conduct periodic credit reviews of existing customers and assess the creditworthiness of potential customers.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with Dealers in a business-to-business environment.
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to management regarding account status.
  • Attend sales and customer meetings related to credit matters.
  • Perform special projects as assigned.
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit and accounts receivable.
  • Bonds and Liens experience highly preferred.
  • Solid process improvement skills.
  • Negotiation and documentation skills.
  • Understanding of credit reporting agencies and Texas lien laws.
  • Ability to analyze complex data and reports.
  • Strong communication and business acumen skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
  • Preferred: Fully bilingual in Spanish and English.
