Job Title: Credit Manager - Houston

We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a Credit Manager, you will be responsible for credit extension and collection of accounts receivable for an assigned area, ensuring compliance with company policy and applicable law.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage an A/R of $5+ million, reporting to the Regional Credit Manager
  • Extend credit to customers, ensuring timely payment and minimizing bad debt losses
  • Work closely with Sales Center Managers, Sales Team, and Customers to resolve credit collection issues
  • Assess creditworthiness of potential customers and optimize credit granting process
  • Provide ad-hoc reports to management on account status and credit performance
  • Attend sales and customer meetings to discuss credit matters
Requirements:
  • High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in credit and A/R
  • Bonds and Liens experience highly preferred
  • Solid process improvement skills
  • Negotiation and communication skills
  • Understanding of credit reporting agencies and Texas lien laws
  • Ability to analyze complex data and reports
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities
  • Strong business acumen and financial analysis skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Fully bilingual in Spanish and English, written and oral
