We are seeking a highly skilled Credit Account Manager to join our team in Houston, Texas. As a key member of our credit team, you will be responsible for credit extension and collection of accounts receivable for an assigned area, ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers.
Key Responsibilities- Manage a portfolio of accounts receivable, ensuring timely and accurate payment from customers.
- Conduct credit reviews and assessments to determine creditworthiness of potential customers.
- Negotiate payment terms and documentation with customers to ensure transactions are properly secured.
- Collaborate with sales teams and customers to resolve credit and collection issues.
- Provide ad-hoc reports to management on account status and performance.
- High school diploma required; 4-year degree preferred.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in credit and accounts receivable.
- Bonds and liens experience highly preferred.
- Solid process improvement skills and ability to analyze complex data.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
