Job Summary

The Family Strengthening Coordinator will work closely with the Case Management, Prevention and Intervention Teams to establish ongoing collaborative relationships with community organizations that are responsive to the needs of the children, youth and families within our CUA service area.

The Coordinator will utilize the Parent Cafés and community events to engage our families in making positive changes.

Some key responsibilities include:

  • Establishing positive, collaborative working relationships and linkages among Child Welfare providers and community service providers
  • Facilitating Parent Cafés and other support groups
  • Developing and conducting Strengthening Families orientations and workshops for the CUA and community
  • Helping organize and effectively engage families and community with participating in agency events
  • Participating in all appropriate trainings, Prevention & Intervention workshops and meetings
