Senior IT Support Specialist

Responsibilities:


  • Conducts a range of technical support activities, including the deployment of new computers (imaging, data transfer, physical installation) and user assistance.
  • Facilitates office relocations that require disconnecting and reconnecting user computers, providing next-day support for login and printer configuration.
  • Responsible for diagnosing network connectivity issues and resolving common software and hardware challenges.
  • Provides guidance to users on MS Office 365 applications, focusing on onboarding new users (e.g., configuring Outlook settings).
  • Follows established protocols to set up and deploy mobile devices within a corporate environment (tablets and smartphones).

Qualifications:


  • At least 5 years of experience in similar roles.
  • Ability to work autonomously, maintain organization, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
  • Exhibit professionalism and strong customer service skills in challenging situations.
  • Proficient in desktop imaging, end-user support, and hardware repair for both Windows and Apple systems, as well as mobile device activation and support.
  • Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
  • Strong troubleshooting skills in the aforementioned areas.
  • Capability to obtain and/or maintain Public Trust security clearance.
  • Familiarity with Active Directory for managing computer objects and performing password resets/account unlocks.
  • Physically able to lift boxes weighing up to 40 pounds and navigate various physical demands throughout the day.
  • Possess reliable transportation and consistently arrive for scheduled shifts punctually.

Additional Information:


  • Recent A+ certification.
  • Knowledge of Windows 10, recent Mac OS, Windows Active Directory, AirWatch MDM for mobile devices, and MS Office 365.
  • College degree or equivalent industry-specific training.
