Position Overview:

The Service Lane Attendant plays a crucial role in our service department, responsible for managing the flow of service customers as they arrive at our facility. This position involves welcoming customers, tagging vehicles, and efficiently directing them to service advisors for further assistance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Welcome and assist customers as they arrive for vehicle servicing.
  • Prepare vehicles for service by installing protective covers and floor mats.
  • Support Service Consultants during the write-up and delivery process.
  • Handle incoming phone calls and provide information as needed.
  • Transport customers to and from their desired locations.
  • Maintain a daily shuttle log to track customer movements.
  • Assist in the Rental/Loaner Department when required.
  • Perform various errands and tasks as assigned by management.
  • Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards.
Physical Requirements:

The physical demands of this role include:

  • Standing and walking for extended periods.
  • Lifting and carrying objects as necessary.
  • Performing tasks that require bending, stooping, and reaching.
  • Maintaining balance and agility while moving about the dealership.
Work Environment:

Employees may be exposed to various environmental conditions, including:

  • Weather elements.
  • Moving mechanical parts.
  • Non-climate controlled areas.
  • Noise and vibration.
