Volt is actively seeking an Environmental Project Supervisor to join our team.

As an Environmental Project Supervisor, your primary responsibilities will include:

Leading the execution of environmental restoration initiatives. This role demands exceptional planning, coordination, and personnel management skills to ensure the successful delivery of field projects within defined scopes, timelines, and budgets.

  • Manage multiple project sites with minimal oversight, handling complex tasks that require careful scheduling.
  • Ensure adherence to all client health and safety protocols.
  • Supervise field teams, including equipment operators and subcontractors, ensuring effective communication and coordination throughout all project phases.
  • Maintain accurate daily field documentation.
  • Possess a strong understanding of construction methodologies and practices.
  • Identify and address contract specifications and potential changes in project scope.
  • Assist in developing cost estimates and provide necessary documentation.
  • Proactively manage and mitigate scheduling conflicts.
  • Ensure that daily operations align with budgetary constraints and timelines.
  • Source materials and negotiate terms with suppliers and subcontractors.
  • Conduct initial investigations of incidents and develop corrective actions, including standard operating procedures.
  • Participate in site assessments, gather subcontractor bids, prepare estimates, and assist in proposal submissions.
  • Utilize computer skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Identify opportunities for operational efficiencies.
  • Collaborate with senior management to set both short-term and long-term objectives.
  • Assist in forecasting project completion costs and preparing change order documentation as necessary.
  • Oversee the professional development of up to 10 direct reports.
  • Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time to various project locations as required.
This is a full-time, Direct Hire position.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • 8 years of experience in leading environmental cleanup, soil remediation, demolition, or habitat restoration projects.
  • Proven experience managing multi-disciplinary teams in construction environments.
  • Completion of Supervisor Training.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 40-Hour HAZWOPER training and current 8-Hour HAZWOPER Refresher.
  • Experience with USACE/Department of Defense (DoD) contracts.
  • USACE Quality Control Training.
  • OSHA 30-hour Training.
Salary: $90,000-$120,000 annually

Compensation will be determined based on various factors, including education, experience, job location, specific responsibilities, and certifications.
