Role Summary

We are currently seeking a Senior Vice President of Environmental Engineering to lead our Pacific Northwest Earth & Environment, Site Investigation and Restoration consulting division. The successful candidate will be enthusiastic about expanding our remediation and Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) consulting services within a collaborative and supportive environment. They should possess in-depth knowledge and technical expertise in site investigation and remediation, particularly under Federal and State regulations. Experience with clients from the Federal Government, State/Local government, and the private sector is highly desirable.

The WSP Northwest Operation is a multidisciplinary organization that presents opportunities to tackle technically challenging projects for a diverse clientele across the United States. Our dedicated team of engineers, geoscientists, chemists, and data visualization specialists is committed to delivering high-quality solutions on complex local projects while benefiting from the resources and opportunities provided by a large international firm. Your Contributions
  • Provide consulting services for federal, municipal, commercial, and industrial clients on environmental investigation and remediation initiatives.
  • Oversee complex site investigation and remediation projects.
  • Offer leadership to environmental science and engineering personnel.
  • Collaborate with project managers and other staff locally and nationally to support environmental investigation and restoration efforts.
  • Lead and assist in engineering design and remedial construction activities.
  • Ensure high standards of quality, effectiveness, and efficiency in our work to meet client and organizational objectives.
  • Actively engage in business development and proposal initiatives.
  • Participate in company-wide initiatives and workgroups.
  • Contribute to the planning and execution of business growth and improvement strategies.
  • Maintain a forward-looking perspective to identify new opportunities and services.
  • Exercise ethical decision-making regarding company resources and conduct, adhering to WSP's Code of Conduct and related policies.
  • Fulfill additional responsibilities as required by business needs.
Qualifications

Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Environmental Engineering, Civil Engineering, or a related field.
  • A minimum of 12 years of relevant post-education experience.
  • Professional registration in Oregon or Washington, with the ability to obtain registration in the other state if necessary.
  • Proven expertise in feasibility evaluation, remedial design, and long-term operation and maintenance of remediation systems.
  • Strong knowledge of and experience with the MTCA regulatory framework.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a strong emphasis on team collaboration.
  • Consistent and highly accurate project execution.
  • Ability to work efficiently and demonstrate effective organizational skills.
  • Willingness to work outside of standard business hours when necessary.
  • Proficiency in MS Office applications and typical engineering software.
  • Experience with Bentley ProjectWise is advantageous.
  • Must pass a background check and maintain a satisfactory driving record in accordance with company policy.
  • Demonstrated commitment to workplace safety and adherence to WSP's health, safety, and conduct policies.

Compensation:

Expected Salary Range: $137,800 - $210,600

WSP USA provides this compensation range based on the successful applicant's qualifications and experience, as well as internal equity and geographic considerations. WSP USA reserves the right to adjust compensation based on various factors not related to an applicant's protected status.
