Job Summary

We're seeking a passionate team player to join our growing team as an Insurance Placement Specialist. This role provides commercial lines support in maintaining, expanding, and servicing assigned accounts. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in a similar position, a FL 2-20 License, and proficiency in MS Office Suite & Excel.

Key Responsibilities
  • Evaluate customer coverage compared to quotes received through the insurance marketing process
  • Develop carrier relationships and negotiate with underwriters and brokers to obtain the best terms, conditions, and pricing from the insurance marketplaces
  • Review market response to fashion the most appropriate insurance program for recommendation to the producer
  • Oversee the accurate and professional creation of our customer proposal for use by the producer
  • Finalize sold programs and bind coverage with selected carriers
  • Demonstrate clear knowledge of commercial insurance coverage and standard industry offerings
  • Stay up-to-date with the appetite, coverage, programs, and guidelines of property/casualty insurance carriers
  • Ensure the professional quality and proper presentation of our submissions to the market
Requirements
  • 1-3 years of experience in a similar position
  • FL 2-20 License
  • Minimum education required
  • Proficient with MS Office Suite & Excel
  • Exceptional telephone demeanor
  • Ability to maintain a high level of confidentiality
