Position Summary
Self-Directed Services provides financial service support to a specialized group of employers throughout the state. The Compensation and Benefits Coordinator plays a vital role within the Payroll team, ensuring accurate and timely bi-weekly payroll processing for employees. This position involves maintaining open lines of communication with all stakeholders regarding program and internal policies.
Key Responsibilities
· Execute a wide range of payroll functions, including timecard entry, budget reconciliation, error review, and data analysis.
· Liaise with employees, employers, and their support teams to clarify program requirements and internal policies.
· Deliver prompt and professional responses to inquiries from employees, employers, and planning teams.
· Collaborate with Accounts Payable, Financial Reporting, Stakeholder Relations, and Outreach teams.
· Assist in the development and implementation of processes that enhance automation and accuracy.
Additional Responsibilities
· Maintain a comprehensive understanding of self-direction and fiscal management services.
· Support general operations of Self-Directed Services as needed.
· Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
· High School Diploma or GED required; a Bachelor's degree in business or a related field is preferred.
· At least 1 year of experience in Payroll; familiarity with Payroll software is advantageous.
· Exceptional attention to detail is essential for success in this role.
· Professional demeanor and effective communication skills are necessary for teamwork.
· Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines is crucial.
· Integrity, accuracy, and efficiency are key attributes for this position.
· Capacity to thrive under pressure in a dynamic environment.
· Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, Outlook, and other HR/payroll technology tools is required.

Work Schedule
This is a full-time position with a typical work schedule of Monday through Friday during standard office hours. Attendance at quarterly in-person team meetings and other required meetings or training sessions is necessary.
