- Oversee eCommerce initiatives, taking charge of outlining requirements for projects essential to the success of OrangePeople's operations.
- Adopt a strategic mindset to identify, prioritize, and enhance feature opportunities, focusing on MVP development and rapid market entry as key decision-making criteria.
- Build strong collaborations with functional leaders and external vendors to define and prioritize use cases. Lead the development of comprehensive requirements, user narratives, and product specifications.
- Collaborate closely with UX/Design, Product, and Engineering teams to translate vision into actionable results, considering aspects such as cost, timelines, dependencies, and impact.
- Proactively identify and mitigate potential risks, challenges, and obstacles that may impede the team's ability to meet strategic, financial, and technical goals.
- Implement effective strategies to ensure seamless project execution.
- Play a key role in launching new functionalities by working closely with business stakeholders.
- Coordinate business activities, resolve issues as they arise, manage releases, and enhance the customer experience through thorough testing and data analysis.
- Effectively communicate complex proposals and risks to senior management, aligning and informing cross-functional teams on all project aspects, presenting a clear perspective, and garnering support for product initiatives.
- Develop and manage project and/or program plans as necessary.
- Provide guidance and mentorship to junior product team members, supporting their professional development. Additionally, oversee the management of consultants and vendors, ensuring alignment with project objectives and standards.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in business, marketing, computer science, or a related discipline; MBA or equivalent experience preferred.
- 5-7 years of experience in product management within e-commerce or closely related consumer-facing products.
- Demonstrated success in launching and optimizing digital products/features in a high-growth or early-stage environment.
- Strong analytical abilities with the capacity to convert data into actionable insights.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across diverse teams.
