Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary technical expert to enhance line Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) during operational hours.
  • Gather and evaluate manufacturing process data to diagnose existing line challenges and formulate predictive models for unexpected downtime.
  • Apply statistical techniques to improve manufacturing quality for existing product lines.
  • Resolve issues with both manual and automated production machinery, pinpoint root causes, and execute corrective measures.
  • Perform failure analysis on rejected items.
  • Lead validation and training initiatives for equipment.
  • Work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to prioritize and implement process enhancement projects.

Requirements:

  • Proven ability to prioritize team achievements and take ownership of production line results.
  • Strong emotional intelligence and analytical skills with an emphasis on fostering effective team dynamics.
  • Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or equivalent experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1-3+ years of hands-on experience in manufacturing engineering within the medical device sector.
  • Demonstrated expertise in constructing, troubleshooting, and maintaining electro-mechanical systems and manufacturing workflows.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis software and Lean Manufacturing/Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Exceptional communication, time management abilities, and proficiency in MS Office tools.
