Controls Engineering Role
  • Location: Remote

  • Key Responsibilities:
    • Design and develop electrical and control systems utilizing AutoCAD
    • Create layouts and designs for electrical, motor, and control panels
    • Demonstrate knowledge of UL508A Standards
    • Program and troubleshoot PLCs, HMIs, VFDs, and other control systems
    • Install, maintain, and program AC and DC drives and legacy PLC systems
    • Resolve control system issues and provide support for existing applications
    • Develop control system programming including SCADA, HMI, and PLC code
    • Collaborate with clients and engineering teams
    • Conduct plant check-out, commissioning, and start-up services
    • Willingness to travel approximately 30%-40% of the time
  • Qualifications:
    • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience
    • 1-3 years of experience in integrated control system solutions for manufacturing
    • 1-3 years of experience in HMI programming with systems like Allen Bradley/Rockwell
    • 1-3 years of experience in PLC programming with systems such as RSLogix and Studio 5000
    • Strong written and verbal communication skills
    • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
    • Ability to work independently and in team settings
