  • Work closely with Manufacturing teams to ensure designs are production-ready.
  • Generate electrical design concepts, panel layouts, assembly drawings, and compile electrical bills of materials.
  • Identify and specify control equipment with an emphasis on safety, functionality, and equipment integrity.
  • Examine sales orders, client specifications, and associated documents to confirm designs meet client expectations.
  • Prepare and oversee essential documentation, including partial releases, final releases, revisions, customer modifications, approval prints, certified prints, and other forms in compliance with ISO standards.
  • Collaborate with plant and field representatives to diagnose and resolve design-related challenges.
  • Support various departments, including Engineering, Customer Service, and Proposal teams.
  • Engage with Mechanical Engineers on design and operational specifications.
  • Accelerate releases to adhere to delivery timelines or resolve machinery concerns.
  • Design, implement, and validate PLC and HMI programming.
  • Coordinate with other divisions to tackle issues in aftermarket services, which may involve parts classification, providing technical assistance to sales and clients, and refining or enhancing previous designs to satisfy client orders.
  • Take on special projects and additional responsibilities as needed.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.
  • Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience.
  • Proficient in AutoCAD Electrical software.
  • Strong computer skills, especially with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
  • Expertise in programming PLCs and HMI software, particularly with Allen-Bradley, Siemens, and C-more systems.
  • Familiarity with UL, NFPA 70, 70E, & 79 standards.
  • Knowledge of industrial control systems, including sensors, motors, AC/DC drives, and servo controllers.
