Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Administrative Assistant I Clinic Clerk to join our team at the Texas Department of Aging & Disability Services.

As an Administrative Assistant I Clinic Clerk, you will provide critical support to our medical providers and patients by performing a variety of administrative tasks.

Key Responsibilities:
1. **Chart Management**: Ensure accurate and timely charting of patient information, including pick-ups and returns.
2. **Data Entry**: Enter patient data into our electronic health record system, including APS's, lab results, and medical history.
3. **Communication**: Facilitate communication between medical providers, patients, and other healthcare professionals.
4. **Supply Management**: Order and manage medical supplies, including lab equipment and medications.
5. **Filing and Scanning**: Maintain accurate and up-to-date filing systems, including scanning and digitizing patient records.
6. **Patient Support**: Provide exceptional customer service to patients and their families, addressing their concerns and needs in a timely and professional manner.
7. **Team Collaboration**: Work collaboratively with our healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care and efficient operations.
8. **Continuous Learning**: Stay up-to-date with changing regulations, policies, and procedures, ensuring compliance and quality patient care.

Requirements:
* 1+ year of experience in a medical office or administrative setting
* Strong organizational and time management skills
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
* Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive patient information
* Proficiency in electronic health record systems and Microsoft Office
* High school diploma or equivalent required
