Key Responsibilities

  • Lead teams of skilled laborers in the efficient and effective completion of tasks
  • Conduct inspections and repairs at the component level on locomotives and railcars
  • Develop and implement process improvement efforts to enhance team performance
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives
  • Provide coaching and guidance to team members to enhance their skills and knowledge

Requirements

  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in a relevant field, such as Mechanical Engineering or Electrical Engineering
  • Leadership experience with the ability to handle conflict and foster a positive work environment
  • Ability to promote a culture of safety awareness and accident prevention
  • Ability to relocate and work flexible days/hours as determined by business needs
  • Some knowledge and maintenance experience of engines and machinery
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new/proprietary programs
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Demonstrates a willingness to learn new skills

Work Environment

  • Willing to relocate anywhere throughout our 22-state network
