Job Title: Clinical Engineering Supervisor

At Agiliti Health, Inc., we are committed to delivering exceptional medical equipment management services to hospitals and healthcare facilities. We are seeking a highly skilled Clinical Engineering Supervisor to lead our team of technicians in the maintenance and repair of medical equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage budgets to ensure efficient operations and provide technical training to other employees on equipment operation and checkout, repairs, preventative maintenance, and quality assurance.
  • Supervise Biomedical personnel and evaluate medical equipment problems, implementing repairs, preventive maintenance, and calibration as needed.
  • Participate in hazard identification and medical device reporting procedures, instructing customer personnel on safe equipment operation when necessary.
  • Maintain inventory and records, participating in on-call rotation as required.
Requirements:
  • A two-year associate degree in Electronics or Biomedical Equipment Technology or an equivalent technical program.
  • A minimum of three years' experience in the Biomedical Equipment field, with certification by the International Certification Commission as a Certified Biomedical Equipment Technician (CBET) preferred.
  • Knowledge of anatomy and physiology and how it relates to the diagnostic, therapeutic, and monitoring characteristics of clinical equipment.
  • Theoretical and practical knowledge of electronic and mechanical technology, as well as familiarity with reading circuit diagrams and mechanical schematics.
