Job Title: Grants Management Specialist

Foodlink Inc is seeking a highly skilled Grants Management Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our development team, you will be responsible for overseeing the entire lifecycle of grant management, from initial planning and proposal submission to compliance and reporting.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain relationships with funders, ensuring all financial and regulatory requirements are met.
  • Manage grant proposal development, including oversight of contract grant writers or coordinating grant writing teams.
  • Coordinate staff grant planning meetings and develop detailed calendars of work timelines for all public and private grants.
  • Prepare, edit, and submit LOIs, interim and final reports, and stewardship correspondence as needed.
  • Manage online grant portal systems and submissions for foundation, city, state, and federal funders.
  • Maintain grant records and track grants and gifts requested and received using CRM.
  • Analyze pending or anticipated grants and manage grant lists for current and prior fiscal years.
  • Prepare annual fiscal year grant projections and grant award summaries for staff.
  • Represent the organization in meetings, site visits, and phone conversations with grant representatives.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Communications, Business Administration, or related field.
  • Project Management Professional Certification or other equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in grant writing, financial management, and/or compliance.
  • Proficiency using ASANA or other project management software.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and financial management systems.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments.
Benefits:

This is a full-time position paid on an hourly basis, ranging from $23.91 to $31.03/hour, depending on experience. Foodlink Inc covers 100% of individual health and dental insurance with the ability to acquire family coverage with pretax dollars. In addition to generous paid time off (PTO), we observe 14 paid holidays throughout the year. Opportunity to contribute to a 401k retirement savings plan upon hire. Eligible for generous employer match after 1 year of service.
