Job Title: Marketing and Sales Lead

Job Summary:
The Marketing and Sales Lead is responsible for developing and implementing sales and marketing strategies to improve company sales and brand awareness. This role requires a strong understanding of sales and marketing principles, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and sustain long-lasting relationships with key customers.
  • Manage outside contractors to assure utilization of social media and online platforms to garner customer interest and create brand awareness.
  • Lead direct and indirect sales channels.
  • Prepare sales forecast reports tracking against budget.
  • Prepare, review, and finalize strategic sales proposals.
  • Develop effective sales strategies to increase company sales.
  • Collaborate with the marketing design and content marketing teams to produce quality advertising material for company products and services.
  • Maintain an accurate record of past campaign results to determine the most effective marketing approaches.
  • Analyze market trends, sales, and marketing metrics, as well as pricing strategies to identify ways to improve sales and marketing efforts.

Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in marketing, communications, business administration, or related field is preferred.
  • Minimum of two (2) years' recent sales management experience.
  • Proven experience working in sales or marketing.
  • Strong knowledge of online & social media advertising and marketing campaigns.
  • Proficient in all Microsoft Office applications and marketing software.
  • Sound knowledge of sales and marketing metrics.
  • The ability to anticipate consumer behavior.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent organizational and time management skills.
  • Highly skilled communicator with the ability to form and maintain good relationships internally and externally.
  • Strong interpersonal, negotiation, and influencing skills.
  • Exceptional customer service skills.
  • Ability to attend night or weekend meetings and work nights and weekends as required on an intermittent basis.
  • Ability to demonstrate a personality which is pleasant, cooperative, and mature.
  • Ability to maintain effective work relations with management, department heads, cooperative officials, contractors, consultants, employees, and the general public.

Work Environment:
Professional and deadline-oriented environment in an office setting. Interact with staff, members and customers. Frequently stressful atmosphere with long or irregular hours.
