Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Medical Assistant to join our team at Novant Health. As a Medical Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing direct patient care and supporting our healthcare team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assist physicians and healthcare providers with patient care and administrative tasks
  • Collect and communicate patient information to ensure accurate and timely care
  • Perform a variety of patient care tasks, including vital signs, injections, and other procedures
  • Provide non-clinical support for the practice, including scheduling appointments and processing prescriptions
  • Work collaboratively with the healthcare team to ensure seamless patient care
Requirements
  • Certification/registry as a Medical Assistant (CMA, RMA, CCMA, NCMA, or AMT)
  • Associate degree or diploma in Medical Assisting from an accredited program
  • 1-year clinical experience in an outpatient or physician office setting preferred
