Centurion Health is seeking a Qualified Medication Aide to join our team at New Castle Correctional Facility in New Castle, Indiana. As a QMA, you will work under the direction of a Registered Nurse and/or other medical staff to assist in administering medications, taking vital signs, and assisting patients with activities of daily living.
Responsibilities- Administer medications and document drug dosages and times of administration
- Take vital signs and assist in examinations and treatments
- Assist patients with activities of daily living
- Monitor patients to report changes in their conditions
- Graduated from a Medication Aide training program and have a QMA certification
- Current CPR certification
- One year experience in acute care, long term care, emergency or correctional setting preferred
- Ability to obtain a security clearance, to include drug screen and criminal background check
