About the Role

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Operations Leader to join our team at Gold's Gym PNW. As a key member of our management team, you will be responsible for leading our team to deliver exceptional results and drive business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Team Development: Foster a high-performing team culture, focusing on employee development, training, and empowerment to achieve business objectives.
  • Leadership: Demonstrate bold leadership, inspiring and guiding team members to deliver outstanding customer experiences and drive revenue growth.
  • Cultural Alignment: Establish a culture that reflects the company's values and strategic direction, promoting inclusivity and teamwork.
  • Revenue Optimization: Drive revenue growth across memberships, fitness programs, and labor initiatives, setting ambitious targets and achieving results.
  • Talent Management: Recruit, develop, and mentor top talent, fostering their growth into exceptional leaders within the organization.
  • Collaborative Problem-Solving: Work collaboratively with the team to identify and overcome obstacles, ensuring exceptional service delivery and guest satisfaction.
  • Operational Excellence: Manage all aspects of the business, including sales, fitness, and gym operations, to enhance profitability and member satisfaction.
  • Continuous Improvement: Implement strategies for continuous improvement in sales, service, and fitness categories, leveraging business acumen and leadership skills.
  • Goal Setting: Guide and support team members in setting and achieving ambitious goals, driving business growth and career progression.
  • Effective Communication: Facilitate transparent communication channels to keep all team members informed, engaged, and equipped with the necessary training and resources.
Requirements
  • Leadership Experience: Possess 2-4 years of progressive management experience, overseeing 12-20 employees within a team-oriented environment.
  • Industry Expertise: Acquire 3-5 years of diverse retail, hospitality, or operations industry experience, emphasizing operational efficiency and exceptional service delivery.
  • Mentorship: Demonstrate a commitment to training, developing, and mentoring team members through active observation, coaching, accountability, and leading by example.
  • Communication Skills: Possess phenomenal communication skills, oral and written, with a heavy emphasis on listening.
  • Education: A High School diploma or equivalent is required, but a Bachelor's degree is preferred.
  • Certification: Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) and Automated External Defibrillator (AED) certification is required and can be obtained upon hiring.
Physical Requirements/Environment
  • Must be able to work in an environment with occasionally high noise levels.
  • Must be able to move frequently through all areas of the club.
  • Daily duties include lifting weights, squatting, bending, reaching, spotting, remaining in a stationary position for extended periods of time, and moving for prolonged periods of time.
  • Occasionally required to demonstrate or explain proper physical fitness activities, techniques, and procedures.
  • Must be able to access and operate Company computer systems, including preparing documents, entering data, and email.
Availability:

This is a full-time position with flexible availability across weekdays, weekends, and holidays to best serve our member community.
