Job Overview

International City County Management is seeking a highly skilled Procurement Specialist to join our team. As a key member of our procurement team, you will be responsible for ensuring that all procurement activities are conducted in accordance with our procurement policy and procedures.

The successful candidate will have a minimum of five years of procurement experience and a bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance/Accounting, or a related discipline. You will be responsible for developing and implementing procurement strategies, negotiating contractual terms and conditions, and ensuring compliance with procurement regulations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement procurement strategies to meet business needs
  • Negotiate contractual terms and conditions with vendors
  • Ensure compliance with procurement regulations and policies
  • Manage procurement requests and ensure timely execution of contractual instruments
  • Conduct vendor vetting and maintain vendor database
  • Develop and implement training programs for staff on procurement policy and procedures
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Finance/Accounting, or a related discipline
  • Minimum of five years of procurement experience
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization and time management skills
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks
