Job Summary

We are seeking a highly motivated Activity Assistant to join our team at Four Seasons Assisted Living. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing engaging activities for our residents, ensuring their physical, emotional, and social well-being.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement activity programs that promote socialization, recreation, and relaxation for residents
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to identify resident needs and preferences
  • Create and maintain activity calendars, ensuring timely and accurate communication with residents and families
  • Participate in special events and outings, ensuring necessary supplies and resources are available
  • Maintain accurate records of resident activity participation and progress

Qualifications

  • Certification in recreational therapy or a related field
  • 2 years of experience in a social or recreational program setting
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Familiarity with long-term care settings and related healthcare fields
