Surgical Nursing Care Coordinator

Delivers coordinated nursing care for patients based on established standards. Supervises and directs nursing staff while coordinating care with other disciplines using critical thinking and professional discretion.

  • A bachelor's degree in nursing (BSN) is preferred
  • Acute care facility experience is also preferred
  • Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice is required
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) or Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is also required
  • Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification and Hospital Fire and Life Safety (HLFS) certification are also required

Caregivers collect relevant data, analyze assessment data, develop care plans, implement plans, coordinate care delivery, and promote health in a safe environment.

They collaborate with healthcare providers, patients, and families to deliver patient care, provide health information, and coordinate discharge planning.

Nursing caregivers delegate tasks, perform other job-related duties, and participate in safety and well-being initiatives at Adventist Health.

Estimated Salary Range:

$115,000 - $145,000 per year
