Account Manager

The Account Manager will work closely with clients to purchase and coordinate the manufacturing of project-related POS material. This role requires strong interpersonal and organizational skills to successfully manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities- Negotiate and obtain quotes from vendors, prepare cost estimates, and issue purchase orders.
- Establish and maintain effective working relationships with print vendors.
- Work with graphic designers and vendors to determine the best print substrates and production method for each project.
- Seek out new vendors and qualify them for production capabilities, cost-effectiveness, and quality control.
- Monitor costs and strive for cost reduction and increased profit margins.
- Prepare and issue purchase orders, bills of materials, work orders, and change orders.
- Ensure consistency and quality control through the print production process and manage projects to deliver orders within budget and on time.
- Assist in the coordination of logistics issues, packaging, and shipping of products/projects at vendors and MZ warehouses.
- Bachelor's degree.
- Minimum 3 to 5 years in purchasing, negotiating, and estimating. Prior print industry experience is strongly preferred.
- Basic inventory control knowledge is preferred.
The incumbent must manage stress appropriately, make decisions under pressure, and handle multiple priorities.
Environmental ConditionsThe incumbent will spend approximately 90% of their time indoors and will not be exposed to toxins, chemicals, or extreme temperatures.
