The Nutrition Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to fill the role of Kitchen Manager for our School Food Service operation. This is a key position that requires strong leadership and management skills to oversee food production and staff training in a large K-12 School Cafeteria environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement effective food production systems to ensure high-quality meals are served to students.
  • Train and supervise a team of food service staff to ensure they have the skills and knowledge needed to perform their duties efficiently.
  • Collaborate with school administrators and other stakeholders to ensure the food service operation meets the needs of the school community.
  • Monitor and control food costs, inventory, and labor expenses to ensure the operation is financially sustainable.
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, regulations, and best practices to ensure the food service operation remains compliant and competitive.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in food service management, preferably in a school or large-scale food service environment.
  • Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and train staff.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
