Lexus Parts Sales Associate

Job Summary: We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Parts Counterperson to join our team at Toyota/Lexus of Knoxville. As a key member of our parts department, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service, assisting customers in selecting required parts, and ensuring timely and accurate order fulfillment.
Responsibilities:
- Provide high-level service to internal and external customers, ensuring a positive and professional experience.
- Assist customers in selecting required parts, providing information on companion part requirements and specials.
- Pull and fill orders from stock, notifying the parts manager of out-of-stock parts or shop materials that need immediate attention.
- Locate out-of-stock parts from outside sources and submit emergency orders as needed.
- Notify the service advisor and customer when special-ordered parts have been received.
- Follow up on back-ordered parts and ensure timely delivery.
- Replenish assigned inventory daily and assist outside sales representatives with their orders.
- Maintain accurate records and ensure all internal requests for parts are billed on service repair orders.
- Receive payment from retail customers and issue credit for parts returned.
- Set up orders for daily shipment, delivery, or pick-up, and maintain a clean and organized workspace.
Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Experience with auto parts sales preferred.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and possess strong organizational and time management skills.
