Job Title: Regional Support Tech

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Regional Support Tech to join our team at Motion Recruitment Partners. As a Regional Support Tech, you will be responsible for providing high-level technical support to our regional offices and field locations.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide prompt and professional technical assistance and escalations from the Managed Service Provider (MSP) helpdesk and others.
  • Proactively visit field locations on a rotating basis to ensure IT equipment is effective, reliable, and user/site issues are addressed and/or escalated.
  • Configure, deploy, and support various computer equipment, networking equipment, phones, hotspots, audio-video, and other equipment and software.
  • Provide hands-on and after-hours support as needed to ensure the regional offices and field locations are fully operational.
  • Communicate, resolve, and document issues in a professional and timely manner.
  • Perform software installation and troubleshooting.
  • Assist with various projects as needed.
Requirements:
  • High School diploma
  • Bachelor's degree in relevant technical field preferred
  • Minimum of 3 years prior service desk or similar IT experience required
  • MCSE, MCSA, MCITP, or other equivalent desktop certifications preferred
  • High-level of proficiency with Windows 7, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office
  • Entry-level understanding of networking principles
  • Strong troubleshooting/problem solving skills
  • Professional communication and customer service skills both written and oral
  • Strong organizational skills with a keen ability to prioritize and multi-task
  • Ability to work with minimal supervision
