Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide expert guidance and management of tax matters pertaining to our organization and affiliated companies and shareholders across various sectors, including manufacturing, real estate, government contracts, and international affiliate transactions.
  • Evaluate financial structures within these sectors and implement tax-efficient strategies and compliance solutions, including identifying state Nexus establishment based on physical presence or economic activity.
  • Collaborate with our financial team to formulate comprehensive tax plans that minimize tax liabilities while ensuring legal compliance.
Additional Responsibilities:
  • Handle tax compliance for federal, state, and local income taxes, payroll taxes, excise taxes, and sales and use taxes, including property tax.
  • Participate in the marketing, networking, and business development within your area of relative business functions within the Group.
  • Ensure compliance with all applicable authorities while minimizing tax and reporting burdens.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or a related field; a Master's degree in taxation or relevant certification (e.g., Enrolled Agent, Certified Public Accountant) is preferred, with equivalent work experience considered.
  • Profound knowledge of tax laws, regulations, and tax planning strategies applicable to various sectors, such as manufacturing, real estate, and government contracts.
  • Experience in a privately held single tax company is an advantage.
  • Familiarity with tax planning and compliance software.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Team player capable of providing expertise to various business sectors within the organization.
