As an Accountant, you will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, including:

  • Financial Record Management: Oversee all accounting transactions, from fixed payments to variable expenses and budgets.
  • Budgeting & Forecasting: Develop and maintain accurate budget forecasts, analyzing financial trends and identifying areas for improvement.
  • Reporting & Analysis: Prepare comprehensive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, providing clear and concise reports on the company's financial health and liquidity.
  • Account Reconciliation: Ensure timely and accurate reconciliation of accounts payable and receivable, maintaining a balanced ledger.
  • Financial Audits: Conduct thorough audits of financial transactions and documents, ensuring compliance with established policies and regulations.

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Proven experience as an Accountant in a similar role.
  • In-depth knowledge of accounting principles and practices, including GAAP.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as FreshBooks and QuickBooks.
  • Advanced skills in MS Excel, including Vlookups and pivot tables.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
  • Additional certifications like CPA or CMA are highly desirable.
