Position Overview:

The Employment Services Coordinator will deliver both direct and indirect employment assistance to individuals enrolled in Supported Employment (SEMP), Pathway to Employment, and Community-Based Prevocational Services.

Collaborate with the Employment Services Supervisor to design and execute various employment initiatives provided by Exceptional Family Resources.

Key Responsibilities:


Deliver comprehensive services and support to individuals engaged in Supported Employment, Community-Based Prevocational, Pathway to Employment, and other employment-related services as outlined in each individual's Habilitation Plan(s).

Generate timely progress reports on individuals, including daily documentation and additional information as required or requested.

Provide skill development and support to individuals utilizing employment services by mastering specific job duties and performance expectations.

Encourage the cultivation of work-related behaviors in service recipients, such as punctuality, appropriate attire, effective communication, receptiveness to supervision, and travel competencies.

Foster positive relationships between individuals and their employers, as well as their colleagues. Educate co-workers and liaise with supervisors on effective strategies for integrating newly placed individuals into the workplace.

Qualifications:
A High School Diploma or GED is required; an Associate's Degree or higher is preferred.
2-3 years of relevant experience working with individuals with Developmental Disabilities is necessary.
Strong communication and organizational skills are essential.
Flexibility in assignments and scheduling is required.
A valid driver's license, reliable transportation, proof of current auto insurance, and an acceptable driving record are mandatory.
Compensation ranges from $18.85 to $21.73, depending on experience and education.
