Service Coordinator/Dispatcher Job Description

O'Connell Electric Company is seeking a highly skilled Service Coordinator/Dispatcher to join our team. As a key member of our Service Department, you will play a vital role in ensuring seamless communication between our customers, field technicians, and project managers.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Respond to customer inquiries, service requests, and emergencies in a timely and professional manner.
  • Schedule service calls and dispatch technicians as needed, ensuring efficient project completion.
  • Manage service work orders, including job setup, billing, and closeout.
  • Collaborate with project managers and field technicians to ensure effective project coordination.
  • Maintain accurate schedules and labor records, resolving conflicts and ensuring timely payroll processing.
Requirements:
  • Associate's degree or relevant experience in the construction industry.
  • At least two years of experience in customer service, dispatching, or project coordination.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel, and experience with scheduling software.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.
Compensation:

O'Connell Electric offers a competitive salary range of $58,500 to $64,350 annually, depending on experience and qualifications.
