Job Summary

Viking Engineering is seeking a highly motivated Regional Sales Account Manager to join our team. As a key member of our sales team, you will be responsible for maintaining positive relationships with prospective and current customers, prospecting and closing sales leads, and providing input on sales strategies within your current territory and Viking's overall corporate sales strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute sales strategies to achieve budgeted revenues and margins
  • Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers
  • Prospect and close sales leads to generate revenue for Viking Engineering
  • Provide input on sales strategies within your current territory and Viking's overall corporate sales strategies
  • Collaborate with Field Service and other departments to ensure excellent customer service

Requirements

  • Minimum of two years of experience in capital equipment sales
  • Technical knowledge of machine functions (electrical and mechanical)
  • Ability to travel frequently
  • Skills in developing and maintaining business relationships
  • Experience in generating leads and managing them through CRM systems

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the pallet or wood industry
  • Skills in using Dynamics 360 CRM for lead management and the Microsoft Office Suite

Working Conditions

This is a full-time exempt position. The typical schedule is standard business hours with occasional hours on nights and weekends as business needs dictate.

Willing to travel for business, customer visits, trade shows & events (domestic & international).
