Front Office Manager Job Description

As a key member of our hospitality team, the Front Office Manager plays a vital role in ensuring seamless guest experiences and achieving operational excellence. This role requires strong leadership and coordination skills to deliver exceptional customer service, manage front desk operations, and drive business results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Front Desk Operations: Efficiently manage front desk duties, ensuring smooth and exceptional guest service, and supervising daily operations to maintain compliance with hotel policies and procedures.
  • Team Leadership: Supervise and train staff to deliver excellent customer service, foster a positive team culture, and promote a culture of continuous improvement.
  • Guest Relations: Proactively interact with customers to obtain feedback, resolve issues, and enhance guest satisfaction, setting a positive example for guest relations and customer service.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Complete and maintain accurate shift reports, analyze guest satisfaction results, and implement action plans to drive improvement and guest delight.
  • Equipment Management: Operate department equipment, report malfunctions, and ensure timely resolution to minimize disruptions.
  • Uniform Management: Manage associate uniforms, including ordering and upkeep, to maintain a professional appearance for the team.
  • Credit Policy Management: Train staff on credit policies, monitor adherence, and minimize bad debts to safeguard hotel revenue.
  • Meetings and Communication: Participate in departmental meetings, effectively communicate Front Desk goals, and align strategies to drive business results.
  • Staffing and Scheduling: Supervise staffing levels to meet guest service and financial objectives, ensuring adequate coverage and optimal performance.
  • Financial Analysis: Understand night audit procedures, utilize reports for accurate financial analysis, and drive business decisions.
