About the Opportunity

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Wound Care RN to join our team in Shiprock, New Mexico. The successful candidate will have expertise in wound care and a strong background in professional nursing care.

Job Summary

This is a full-time, 26-week contract position with rotating 12-hour shifts. The ideal candidate will be responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and evaluating wound care treatments for patients with acute and chronic wounds.

Salary and Benefits

Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement evidence-based wound care plans tailored to each patient's needs
  • Educate patients and their families on wound care techniques, dressing changes, and prevention strategies
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive care plans
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and best practices in wound care management
Qualifications
  • Active RN license in the state of New Mexico
  • BLS certification required
  • Current Wound Care Certification from an Accredited Wound Care Certification Course
  • Minimum of 2 years of clinical experience in professional nursing care
  • Proficiency in various wound and ostomy treatments
