Sterilization Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled Sterilization Specialist to join our team at Ladgov Corporation.

• Sterilization and Quality Control: The successful candidate will be responsible for sterilizing and controlling sterilized supplies and equipment, adhering to AAMI, Federal regulations, and AORN Standards.
• Supply Management: Selecting appropriate wrapping methods to prevent breakthrough, dating, and labeling packages upon completion, while maintaining the sterility of supply indicators and rotating stock by disposing or reprocessing contaminated or outdated sterile goods.
• Biological Testing: Performing daily and/or load biological testing of sterilizers, recording results, and notifying charge Nurse/Nurse Manager of any contaminated loads.
• Asepsis and Sterilization Methods: Demonstrating knowledge of asepsis and sterilization methods with the ability to understand basic medical and surgical terminology, therapeutic practices for human anatomy, and physiology.

• Minimum 2 Years Experience: Minimum of twenty-four (24) months relevant experience within the last thirty-six (36) months.
• Communication Skills: Shall read, understand, speak, and write English effectively to communicate with patients and other healthcare workers.

• Competitive Salary: $60,000 per year, based on industry standards and location.
• Certification Requirements: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) is mandatory.
