Job Title: Private Banking Officer

Republic Bank Limited is seeking a skilled Private Banking Officer to join our team. As a Private Banking Officer, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service to high net worth individuals and businesses, while proactively assisting them with their financial needs through the delivery of banking services.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Act as a financial advisor dedicated to building long-term relationships with clients, tailoring financial solutions to meet their goals and objectives.
  • Manage individual portfolios of loans and deposits for retention and growth, analyzing business financials and having a detailed understanding of the business and their income statement and balance sheet.
  • Sell commercial and retail bank products and services, focusing on high net worth clients, medical professionals, and small to medium-sized businesses, with the expectation of growing our CRE, C&I, and retail loan portfolios, as well as production of secondary market loans.
  • Responsible for selling all retail and treasury management deposit products, obtaining deposit growth and fee income for the bank, including credit card and merchant services.
  • Act as the bank's agent, advising clients on proper loan structure and participating in community affairs to increase the bank's visibility and enhance new business development opportunities.
Requirements:
  • 5 years' experience in commercial and retail lending or equivalent experience required.
  • Minimum of 5 years' previous sales experience required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) required.
  • NMLS registration required.
Interpersonal Skills and Competencies:
  • Excellent verbal and written communications skills required for effective interactions with clients to meet financial investment objectives and/or resolve problems or complaints.
  • Must have the ability to negotiate, structure, price, document, and close transactions of small to moderate complexity with minimal guidance with terms acceptable to the bank and client even when goals conflict.
  • Must be self-motivated and work well in a team environment.
  • Requires a high energy level and strong sense of urgency.
  • Must be well organized and able to multi-task.
