Job Summary

Facing History and Ourselves, Inc. is seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Development Assistant, Stewardship to join our global fundraising team. This role will support the Senior Development team in expanding the organization's stewardship and engagement of individual donors.

Key Responsibilities
  • Coordinate the management and upkeep of a fundraiser toolkit, partnering with colleagues to draft and organize materials and ensuring they remain up-to-date.
  • Operationalize additional stewardship projects, including project management and execution for donor communications and small events.
  • Support monthly, quarterly, and annual review processes for Salesforce data related to portfolio and communications assignment, partnering with the Data Team and Development staff.
  • Support weekly data integrity work and ongoing data entry needs for the Development Ladder of Engagement.
  • Partner with the Data Team to determine list segmentation and coordinate regional list review for campaigns, donor lists, and the Annual Report.
Requirements
  • Work or internship experience in an office setting is strongly preferred.
  • Ability to multitask and be flexible while showing attention to detail.
  • Disciplined self-starter and independent worker with creative energy.
  • Excellent written, oral, and computer skills.
  • Exceptional organizational skills.
  • Interest in and ability to articulate the mission of Facing History and Ourselves.
  • CRM familiarity.
  • Excellent computer skills, including experience with Google Suite and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Experience with Zoom and Zoom Webinar is preferred.
