Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Field Service Engineer II to join our team at Bio-Rad Laboratories. As a key member of our Global Commercial Operations Group, you will be responsible for providing critical assistance and care to customers in the New England region.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform repairs, upgrades, and preventative maintenance on Bio-Rad's Clinical Diagnostics and Life Science instruments to ensure quality performance.
  • Respond to emergencies and assist staff in other regions as needed.
  • Build and sustain strong relationships with customers to anticipate and advocate for their needs.
  • Adhere to FDA and GMP regulations and requirements with detailed record keeping and service documentation.
Requirements
  • At least 3 years of transferable field service experience servicing electro-mechnical/electronic/optical/robotics equipment.
  • A.S. or B.S. in Electronics, Biomedical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering (or a related field or military equivalent experience).
  • Strong electro-mechanical troubleshooting skills and fundamental knowledge of computer networking.
  • Excellent customer relation and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Flexibility and enthusiasm for daily travel.
Preferred Skills
  • Hands-on experience with Diagnostic or Life Science instruments.

Compensation

The estimated base salary range for this position is $72,800 to $100,100 at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors.

This position is eligible for a variable annual bonus, which is dependent upon achievement of your individual objectives and Company performance.
