Job Duties
The Virginia Department of Human Resource Management is seeking a dedicated professional to provide essential administrative support and technical assistance to grant personnel. This role is crucial in ensuring the seamless operation of grant-related activities and compliance with deliverable requirements.
Key responsibilities include managing the reimbursement process for federal grants, compiling and maintaining grant data, and preparing comprehensive reports. The position also involves assisting with the tracking and analysis of grant-related information to ensure all objectives are met efficiently.
This position is funded through a federal grant and continued employment is subject to available funding.
Minimum Qualifications
- Familiarity with standard office practices and basic accounting principles.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills, along with strong organizational and time management abilities.
- Proficiency in data entry and computer applications, particularly Microsoft Office Suite.
- Capability to manage financial information and adhere to compliance guidelines.
Additional Considerations
- Relevant education or experience in business accounting or a related field.
- Experience in coordinating multiple components of service-oriented transactions.
- Understanding of federal, state, and local regulations pertaining to grants.
